Each year, funds raised through Tin Cup support the people, places, and programs that make Teton Valley thrive.

2025 GivÂing Period is June 13 — July 25.
There are two ways to give during the Tin Cup Challenge. Community Donors make a sinÂgle desÂigÂnatÂed gift, with their choÂsen amounts alloÂcatÂed to speÂcifÂic nonÂprofÂits they wish to supÂport. Challengers and Friends of the Challenge give undesignated funds that help partially match those gifts—boosting the impact for every participating organization. It’s a powerful way to come together and make local giving go even further.
What is a Tin Cup Donor?
One in three households in Teton Valley give through the Tin Cup Challenge—it’s a true community effort. Donations come in all sizes, from all over the valley, united by a shared commitment to giving back. When you give during the Tin Cup Giving Period, your designated gifts are boosted by additional funding from Challengers and Friends of the Challenge through a partial match grant.
It’s easy to give: just pick your favorite nonprofits, decide how much you want to give to each, and make one tax-deductible donation to the Community Foundation. Every gift counts and adds up to something big for our community.
What is a Tin Cup Challenger?
ChalÂlengers are a speÂcial group of indiÂvidÂuÂals and busiÂnessÂes who donate to the Challenger Fund. These gifts are not earÂmarked for speÂcifÂic nonÂprofÂits, but are used to match the community’s donaÂtions. ChalÂlengers generously give at levÂels of $1,500+.
ChalÂlengers’ genÂerosÂiÂty inspires increased comÂmuÂniÂty givÂing and is key to Tin Cup’s sucÂcess. ChalÂlengers can proudÂly call themÂselves comÂmuÂniÂty leadÂers who proÂmote charÂiÂtaÂble givÂing and intrinÂsiÂcalÂly valÂue philÂanÂthropy. ComÂbined with comÂmuÂniÂty-wide efforts, they highÂlight the tremenÂdous work of local nonÂprofÂits and appreÂciÂaÂtion of that work.
To make the Tin Cup Challenge a sucÂcess, more than 200 volÂunÂteers are needÂed before, durÂing, and after the event. Thank you to all the volÂunÂteers who give of their time each year!
The ComÂmuÂniÂty FounÂdaÂtion is deeply grateÂful for the 636 volunteer hours that make the Event Day posÂsiÂble. At the core of our volÂunÂteer powÂerÂhouse are our Tin Cup Captains. In partÂnerÂship with the our Program Manager, this team works tireÂlessÂly throughÂout the sumÂmer to plan and exeÂcute Event Day. Thank you to the Tin Cup Captains for their time, talÂent, and comÂmitÂment to community.

What is an In-Kind Donor?
Tin Cup relies on the genÂerosÂiÂty of dozens of local busiÂnessÂes and nonÂprofÂits that donate goods and serÂvices to the event.
The Shirt Off Their Back Givers
It is with deep gratitude that we recognize and celebrate our Tin Cup Challenge In-Kind Donors. Their generous discounts and local services keep our production costs low so that more Challenger dollars can be invested back into our community.
Thank you!
