Event Day

Community Counts

Tin Cup Event Day is held annu­al­ly on the third Saturday in July. There are 5K and 10K timed runs, an untimed Fun Run/​Walk, and a high­ly com­pet­i­tive Dia­per Der­by. Win­ners of each race receive prize mon­ey to donate to their favorite nonprofits.

To celebrate com­mu­ni­ty-wide generosity and dedicated local nonprofit services!

Every­one is invit­ed to enjoy Tin Cup fes­tiv­i­ties, learn about local non­prof­its, and cel­e­brate philanthropy in action. 

Tin Cup Event Day is always the third Saturday in July.

Tin Cup fes­tiv­i­ties take place at the Driggs City Park from 9 am to noon.

Tin Cup T‑shirts are avail­able dur­ing the Giv­ing Period at the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion office, the Driggs Farmers Market, and on Event Day (while sup­plies last).

Pre-registration ends the Friday before the event at 5 p.m. Register for the Fun Run/Walk for FREE before Event Day, or pay $10 on the day of the event. The Competitive 5K is $10, while the 10K costs $20 before Event Day and $20 / $30 on the day of the race.

Register online, at the Driggs Farmers Market, or the Foundation office.

Timed divi­sions: 5K & 10K for males & females under 12 years old, Youth (13-17), Adult (18-49), and Masters (50+).

The top three timed run­ners in each division win nonprofit bucks to donate to their favorite par­tic­i­pat­ing nonprofits. Advance reg­is­tra­tion is encour­aged; how­ev­er, you may reg­is­ter to walk or run on Event Day at the Reg­is­tra­tion pavilion before 8:30 a.m. at Driggs City Park.

Timed run­ners pick up their bibs on Event Day from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Driggs City Park Race Registration pavilion.

Tin Cup wel­comes dogs that are expe­ri­enced and com­fort­able in crowds. Please keep them on a short leash and pick up after them. No oth­er ani­mals are allowed.

Nonprofit Spirit Awards

Each year, through the generosity of Tin Cup Challengers, the Community Foundation of Teton Valley honors Tin Cup spirit on the race course with grant awards. We invite you to show your support and enthusiasm by dressing for success alongside your favorite nonprofit.

By dressing in the spirit of giving, your organization will have a chance to win the prestigious Tin Cup Spirit Award, with a grand prize of $200 for first place, $100 for second place, and $75 for third place.
